How to Get to UCT Prague
We recommend using public transportation when going from the airport Letiště Václava Havla to the city as it is the cheapest and easiest option. See this instructional video on how to get from the airport by bus and metro.
Take bus 119 to the Nádraží Veleslavín metro station, then take the metro (line A, green) in the direction Depo Hostivař and get off at the Dejvická metro station. Go up the escalators, and continue to the right-side exit stairs that will take you directly to the university. The trip takes about twenty-five minutes.
Don’t forget to buy a ticket for public transport. You can do so by purchasing the ticket in a machine at the bus stop at the airport, or by buying the ticket in the PID Litacka application (we recommend using this app as you can also find the timetables of the public transportation there.)
Find a connection (from Letiště Václava Havla to Dejvická)
- Hlavní nádraží (main station)
Take metro line C towards Háje; change to line A at the Muzeum station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: about twenty minutes. Or use tram No. 26 towards Dědina; get off at Dejvická. Also about twenty minutes.
Find a connection (from Hlavní nádraží to Dejvická) - Masarykovo nádraží
Take metro line B towards Zličín; change to line A at the Můstek station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: about twenty minutes. Or use tram No. 26 towardss Dědina; get off at Dejvická. Also about twenty minutes.
Find a connection (from Masarykovo nádraží to Dejvická) - Smíchovské nádraží
Take metro line B towards Černý Most; change to line A at the Můstek station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: around thirty minutes.
Find a connection (from Smíchovské nádraží to Dejvická) - Nádraží Holešovice
Take metro line C towards Háje; change for line A at Muzeum station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: about twenty-fix minutes.

Take metro line B towards Zličín; change to line A at the Můstek station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: about twenty-five minutes.
Find a connection (from Florenc to Dejvická) - Roztyly
Take metro line C towards Nádraží Holešovice; change to line A at the Muzeum station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: around thirty-five minutes.

From the Volha stop, take the bus in any direction to metro line C - Chodov or Opatov (metro towards Nádraží Holešovice); change to line A at the Muzeum station, towards Dejvická. Journey duration: about forty-five minutes.

Way from UCT Prague to the Jižní Město Student Dormitory
Take metro line A towards Skalka; change to line C at the Muzeum station, towards Háje. Get off at the Chodov station. From the subway, take the first exit to the right, then bus 193 or 177 to the Volha stop (three stops on the bus). Journey duration: about forty minutes, depending on bus intervals and traffic.
Find a connection (from Dejvická to Volha)
Go to Dejvice, Vítězné náměstí, Evropská street in the direction of the airport. Turn at the first street on the right (Šolínova street) and then onto Technická street (second left).
