Veronika Kramaříková Appointed New Vice-Rector for Strategy
Ing. Veronika Kramaříková, MBA joins University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague from the neighbouring Czech Technical University in Prague, where she served as Vice-Rector for Development and Strategy from 2020. She will now take on the same position at UCT Prague.
She began her professional career in 2002 at the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic, where she participated in the preparation of numerous strategic documents and the implementation of new processes. In addition to her experience in public administration, she also established and managed her own company (2006–2013), specializing in the administration of public procurement and projects, including the development of a certified system for public procurement administration.
During her time at the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic (2004–2006), she managed, among other things, the Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects Private Prison Construction and Judicial Complex. She subsequently contributed to the preparation of the state budget at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic (2013–2014).
She gained extensive insight into the academic sector while serving at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic as Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation (2015–2017). She concluded her career in public administration as Director of the Department of Digital Society and Smart Specialisation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (2018–2019).
